If I have a mirror in front of me, I know what I would see. A sad and stressed look on my face. I am in the middle of a battle against laziness at work. As I have mentioned before in my past entries, I’ve been having a hard time feeling sad and lonely lately. Though that is not the case right now. I am sure that I am just stressed at work. No loneliness or anything of the sort. Now, I wonder if the loneliness I felt before is related to the stress I get at work.

I continued thinking about my situation until I finished eating my dinner of Pork Adobo. I then had to decide whether I should ask for hot tea to be prepared for me or just ask for hot coffee instead. I asked our maid to make coffee for me. It is my second cup today. I continued pondering about what I should do about my problem.

I read some article yesterday that made me wonder if I am just experiencing “ego-tripping” because I feel like I’m too good for my job right now. Could I be feeling that instead of some other valid reason that I came up with? I finished my coffee then went straight to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I leaned on the wall staring at the shower and started thinking of reasons on why I really wanted to leave my job.

I looked at the clock and an hour has passed since I last entered the bathroom.

If there’s anything clear to me right now, it’s that my bathroom is definitely my thinking place.

I stare at the two books on my bed. I am fully aware that my face is not showing any sign of happiness at the moment, but I know that I was happy inside. I then smiled at the discovery. I found a temporary cure for my loneliness.

I love reading books. Particularly, novels.

I know I love reading stories. Hell, that’s why I read a lot of manga. Of course with the absence of images, I thought I would not be too fond of reading novels. I have read a few before when I was in high school, and even in college, but I’ve never really considered it as a cure to loneliness.

I can see you look happy.

Those were my mom’s words to me earlier this morning when she found me curled on my bed, reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I just could not put the book down. It was worthy of all the praises it was getting. Worthy of all the hype. I would gladly include a brief summary here but I bet this site has already done a better job at that.

I just have one more problem left. This slight pain in my right eye that is probably caused by too much reading. I only had 3 hours of sleep the other day and 4 and a half last night. This is not good.

Now, can anyone tell me what the cure is for lack of self-discipline?

Miura Haruma from Gokusen 3. The last episode I watched is episode 2. I’ll continue the recaps as soon as I finish everything that needs sorting in my PC. I still have Binbo Danshi to watch! <__< He's there too! Argh! He's such a versatile actor! His role there is the complete opposite of his role in Gokusen 3.

Watch Definitely, Maybe too. It's not an Asian drama. It's an American movie. The kid there is so cute and the story is really sweet.

So then I plugged in my slower SmartBro connection, cleared the cache and then refreshed. Voila! Instant image makeover.

Just to be sure, I plugged in my globe broadband connection a couple more times, cleared both browser cache, refreshed on both browsers and still … same fugly effect.

Conclusion:

I sincerely hope that this isn’t a forever thing and it isn’t going to last longer than the end of today. If not then I’d have to call their customer service hotline tomorrow and the lucky agent would have to listen to me BF (Bitch Fit) about their sorry attempt to fool their customers.

When I went to the toilet I recalled last night’s GMA7 Documentary “Kalam”.

How can I throw up the excess food I ate when there are families who can’t even afford to eat 3 times a day. Some of them are too poor to even buy rice. The spoiled rice they have is still food for them just as long as it doesn’t poison them.

Tatandaan ko na lang to whenever I try to binge. So now as punishment, I’ll workout before I sleep for 2 hours.

If you do not have any idea who Fred is yet, then you’re in luck! I’m just about to give you half of your life back. Ok I’m obviously exaggerating. A bit. Because Fred is just super awesome-cute-funny-adorable.

I have just made YouTube my number one source of entertainment, yes, even more than my own TV at home. The channels I am subscribed to are mostly composed of viral webisodes and I believe all are in the comedic genre.

Ok, now back to Fred.

I discovered Fred through Blade376’s video parody of Fred.

And after watching one of Fred’s videos, I just got hooked!

But it isn’t just the voice! It’s the whole whacky story behind Fred and his mom. Oh and ofcourse Judy, Judy’s boyfriend Kevin, and that Cat with rabies that bit Kevin.

My desk is always messy lately. It happens when you’re too busy to be bothered by a messy desk.

I drink coffee after lunch and green tea for merienda.

The 19″ LCD monitor that I bought last year. I’m planning on buying the 21″ before the year ends. But that’s if I get more projects before the year ends. I have to save for our car fund next year as well. And I go bye bye salary once again.

My father gave me lots of stuff on his latest vacation. A new phone, which I always never ask for. I have not much use for a cellphone since I started working homebased. He also bought me a Canon Ixus 860IS, which I asked for and I love it so much. Some other usual stuff he brings me when he comes home and this laptop. A fujitsu Siemens Amilo Xi 2428 which is super awesome besides it having a short battery life. But it’s a great laptop for designers…and *cough*gamers*cough*.

Our lunch or what’s left of it. Ginataang Kalabasa. It’s supposed to be ginataang gulay because there’s supposed to be a lot more veggies in it, but we only had kalabasa in the fridge so we had to make do. It’s very yummy still or it must be my love for anything ginataan talking.

Our new helper that we got from my mom’s province. A very meek 32 year old mommy who is very hardworking. We’ll see if it’s only because she’s still new. My mom’s planning on opening a mami house beside our sari-sari store, that’s why we got another helper for that. If not then only one helper will do. Our house isn’t huge anyway!

• I hate it that my father has to work abroad. Not because we cannot survive without him working there, but because the jobs and benefits offered are almost always better than what my own country can provide.
• I hate corrupt government officials.
• I hate the “bahala na” attitude of most Filipinos.
• I hate having to say goodbye to my father every year when he leaves to work abroad.
• I hate it that my father’s been working abroad even before I was born.

Holy Macaroni! Could this be true!? I’m finally done organizing over 600 items in my reader… This calls for a celebration. Canton!
